Minnesota Running Club

Official Page of The University Running Club at the University of Minnesota 

The Minnesota Running Club is a group of runners, sprinters, and field event athletes of all abilities that meet every week for workouts and runs. There is no experience or pace requirement, to join us, we're just excited to have you with us!   We also have an optional racing team that is open to all interested cross country, road racing, and track & field athletes. Whether a first-time runner or high school state champion, all runners are welcome and we hope to see you there!

DAILY RUNS
Come join us for our daily runs Monday-Thursday at 5:30pm and Friday at 4:30pm! We meet at Cooke Hall and offer running groups at various distances and paces. Distance, sprints, and field events workouts are also offered 2-3 times a week.

COMPETITIONS
While not required, competing is a great way to increase involvement with the club. We compete against other club teams as well as NCAA D2 and D3 schools in cross country as well as indoor and outdoor track and field.

SOCIAL EVENTS
Looking to make some new friends? Our social events are a great way to meet other club members outside of running. Some favorite events include a summer volleyball league and monthly study nights.
