Adam Justin / Senior / President
Hi everyone! My name is Adam Justin and I am excited and honored to be your Run Club President this year. You can find me this year at most Run Club events like daily runs, social events and races! I'm very lucky to have an incredible team of officers this year to ensure that all of our members have a great year of Run Club. This is my fourth year in the Run Club and I was the men's distance captain last year. I'm in my final year studying Political Science and Economics before hopefully attending law school next year. I run distances from 1500 meters to the half marathon in the spring, but there's nothing better in my mind than a good Saturday morning cross country meet. I'm from a suburb of Milwaukee called Wauwatosa, WI, and I'm a very proud Wisconsinite. My life goal is to visit every U.S. national park (I've been to 16 so far out of the 63) and to climb Denali in Alaska. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out! Let's make this another amazing year of Run Club!

Hannah Gillian-Daniel / Sophomore / Vice President of Distance
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I am the vice president of distance. I am from Madison, Wisconsin and I am a sophomore studying early childhood education. I am so excited to help create workouts for everyone this year, as well as hopefully get more women on the team! I did both cross country and track for all of high school, and have absolutely loved being a part of TURC. When I am not running I love spending time outside, knitting and other crafts. A fun fact about me is that I have a twin sister. I am so excited for our amazing upcoming season!

Heather Wiehe / Junior / Vice President of Sprints
Howdy TURC! My name is Heather, and I am your Vice President of Sprints/Field this year. I’m a Junior in the School of Nursing, and this will be my third-ish year on the team! I am from Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and I went to Stillwater Area High School. I started track and field in seventh grade, and I specialized in the 100m hurdles, pole vault, triple jump and the 4x100 relay during high school. Now, I focus mainly on 100m hurdles, the open 100m and 200m, and the 4x100 or 4x200 relay depending on whether we're in the indoor or outdoor season! One fun track fact about me is that I’ve never run further than 400m in one race, and I’ve only run a 400m race twice in my life. The first time was at my very first meet in seventh grade because my coach made everyone run at least one “distance” race during the season, and the second time was in the 4x400 at Relays last year, so I’m not even sure if that one counts. I love TURC with my whole heart as it has given me my very best friends. You will see me at most of the TURC functions as well as behind the camera at most of our meets! As for being at the U, I grew up going to Gopher men’s hockey games, so naturally that is where you will continue to find me on most Friday and Saturday nights during the winter season! Please reach out if you have any questions, comments, or concerns in regards to TURC, the sprints and field team, or anything else that may come to mind. Don’t hesitate to say hi if you see me out and about! Peace and love beautiful people!

Chris Stallard / Junior / Treasurer
Hi everyone! I’m Chris Stallard and I’m your treasurer! I’m currently a junior studying Chemical Engineering. I’m from Gaithersburg, Maryland (a suburb of Washington DC), so Minnesota winter running is definitely a big change. I run mostly longer distance events - cross country races, 3Ks during indoor, and 5Ks during outdoor, so I’m racing and training hard all year. Outside of running, I love pretty much all things outdoors - hiking, mountain biking, camping, you name it. If you have any questions about the club feel free to reach out to me!

Findlay Drabant / Sophomore / Race Team Director
Hi everyone! My name is Findlay and I’m super excited to be this year’s race team director. I’m from Milwaukee WI, and I’m going into my sophomore year studying journalism and creative writing. When I’m not running, you’ll find me reading, playing the New York Times mini crossword, curating my fidget collection, or rubbing my hands together in anticipation for fall. A fun fact about me is that I once read all of the Harry Potter books in two months. I can’t wait to have some great races with TURC this year!!

Arlan Hegenbarth / Sophomore / Men's Distance Captain
Hello everyone! My name is Arlan and I am excited to be the Men’s Distance Captain this year! I look forward to planning fun and challenging workouts that help everyone achieve their training goals. I am currently a sophomore studying Data Science and Geography with a focus in GIS here at UMN. I am from Eagan, Minnesota and raced cross country, track, and Nordic skiing in high school, but I still think that cross country is the best. Outside of running, I enjoy exploring the outdoors in a variety of ways including biking, canoeing, skiing and camping. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding workouts or training, feel free to reach out!

Amanda Bittman / Senior / Women's Distance Captain
Hey everyone! My name is Amanda and I am super excited to be the Women’s Distance Captain for 2023-2024! I can’t wait to plan lots of fun workouts and activities! Helping people train is a passion of mine, and I hope to help make our team faster. My favorite races are the 5K and the half-marathon (I highly recommend joining the club’s half-marathon team!). I am from Alexandria, Minnesota, where I ran both cross country and track in high school. Running with TURC has been a great way to continue my running career! Not only is it a great place to get my daily run in, but it has also been a wonderful way to meet a bunch of friends through all of the social activities. This year, I will be a junior majoring in Computer Science and Economics. Outside of running, I love hiking, camping, curling, Nordic skiing, and baking. If you have any questions about running, injuries, or anything else, feel free to reach out!

Anna Timme / Junior / Sprint & Field Captain
Hello lovely people! My name is Anna and I’m so excited to be the Sprints and Field Captain this year. I’m originally from Mequon, WI (a suburb 20 mins north of Milwaukee) and went to Homestead High School. I ran cross country and track in high school but mostly stick to sprints now, usually running the 100m, 200m, and 4x1. You might catch me at some cross country meets but I will probably be cheering and taking pictures. I can also be found at most TURC social events. I’m currently a junior studying Aerospace Engineering and this is my third year with the club. Outside of school and TURC I really enjoy hanging with my friends (many of which I've made through TURC), going to Gopher sporting events, reading, and hiking. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or to just say hello :)

Hi everyone! My name is Kristina, and I’m your Apparel and Branding Officer for this year! I’m from the small town of Durand, Illinois, and I’m a sophomore studying geoengineering at the U. I ran cross country and track all through high school, and raced with the run club last year and loved it! I’ve made some of my closest friends and best memories through run club, and I am so glad I got involved with it. When I’m not running, I love going to gopher football games, listening to music, collecting cool rocks, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and journaling. I look forward to seeing you all around at run club events & don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat!!

Zach Suda / Sophomore / Social Media and Events Coordinator
What’s up Run Clubbers! My name is Zach, and I’m super hyped to be your social media and social events coordinator for the 2023-24 school year! I’m originally from Green Bay, WI (Big Jordan Love supporter) and I am studying Chemistry here at the U with hopes of becoming a High School Teacher and Cross Country Coach! You’ll catch me, and probably even beat me, at all of the races and daily runs as well. I’m a huge football enthusiast, so don’t hesitate to spark some fantasy football talk! Be sure to follow the club on Instagram to stay up to date with our upcoming social events! Additionally, please reach out to me with any questions, ideas, or suggestions about upcoming events, or just about Run Club in general!

Abby Brett / Senior / Travel Coordinator
Hi, my name is Abby! I’m the travel coordinator this year and am an Ecology major in my senior year. I didn't start running until my sophomore year of college when I found Run Club where I met some great people who encouraged me to start racing and showed me that anyone can enjoy running no matter when they start. Because of this I find it very rewarding to return the favor and love to help students find how running can be something special for them as well! When I'm not running you can find me hiking, baking, knitting, doing homework and doing more homework. I mean, with coffee you don't need sleep, right?

Alex Dieterle / Sophomore / Community Outreach and Recruitment
Hi everyone! My name is Alex and I am excited to be your community outreach and recruitment coordinator. I organize fun volunteering and fundraising events for our club! I am a sophomore from Champlin, MN and I am majoring in mechanical engineering. I ran track and cross-country in high school and I think it is really cool that we get to run different races and distances in track and cross-country than in high school. Outside of running, I like to play basketball and do anything outside.
